Another success story: The new Le Méridien in Vienna with a total of 290 guestrooms is situated in an excellent location vis-à-vis the famous State Opera with a view over the imperial palace Hofburg.
Along with the Le Royal Méridien Hamburg, the hotel was one of the two first hotels to be designed according to a completely new product concept. A typical characteristic of this innovative “Art+Tech” concept is the very modern design of the rooms and public areas.

This is particularly true of the guestrooms, which - with their 102 cm big plasma televisions, electronically adjustable beds and “glass bathrooms”- clearly discern themselves from other more conventional hotel rooms of a similar standard.

The luxury hotel is the perfect example for the fascinating symbiosis of tradition and modern design. Behind the façade that goes back to the 19th century of imperial Vienna, the “Art+Tech” concept, that seems to have been created just for the place on the famous Opernring, gives an inspiring impression of 21st century art and technology without neglecting the city’s traditions.

The new and modern hotel concept with its excellent quality of service has succeeded in clearly setting itself apart from its competitors and is an absolute contrast to the more traditional type of hotels which dominate the Vienna hotel market.

Since its opening, the Le Méridien Vienna has established itself as the hotel with the best performance on the market and was nominated for the Top100 by the renowned travel magazine “Condé Nast Traveller”.
